What to Buy in Seville
Ceramics and porcelain: ceramics are particularly famous from the Triana neighbourhood, and they are often bought by tourists looking for a unique gift from the city. As for porcelain, the city is home to the famous company "La Cartuja" which has been making exceptional products since 1839.
Fans: these typical items can be found in many shops in Seville, with different price ranges and quality levels. Some are complete works of art, hand-painted and made with high-quality wood.
Gastronomy: they say that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach; so it'll be no surprise that you'll fall head over heels with Seville after trying its exceptional cuisine. Make sure you try the city's typical dishes, and you can buy delicious local products such as olive oil, olives and wine.
Streets and Shopping Areas in Seville
Calle Sierpes: this central street is one of the most well-known in the city. It has lots of shops and is popular with both locals and tourists alike.
Calle Tetuán: another central street, which is pedestrianised and lined with shops and restaurants.
Shopping Centres
Plaza de Armas: located in the heart of the city, this shopping centre can be found in what was a beautiful train station, making it a landmark in the city.
Nervión Plaza: not far from Sevilla FC football stadium, this shopping centre has a large number of shops and entertainment options. Having said that, it is much like a shopping centre found in any other city and unless you particularly need something, we wouldn't recommend making the trip there.
Centro Comercial Torre Sevilla: Located underneath the iconic Torre de Seville is an outdoor shopping centre. What makes this shopping centre unique is the outdoor aspect and the imposing Torre de Sevilla which rises above it.
Los Arcos Shopping Centre: This shopping centre is located on the outskirts of Seville and is home to a cinema, a large range of shops and many food options.
